The Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped (CCABH) held its annual educational event and dinner for individuals with visual impairments and their guests on May 20, 2026. Information on cyber, telephone, and in-person scams was presented to the group along with tips and advice to recognize the signs of Elder Abuse. Marsha Thomas, Vision Services Caseworker at CCABH, states, “It is so important that our clients are aware of how changing technology can be used to take advantage of them, and even more important that they know how to protect themselves.”
The goal of the CCABH Vision Services Department is to promote the maximum level of independence for those with vision loss. CCABH is the proud manufacturer of CAB® Solar and CAB® Products and provides employment and vision services to individuals with disabilities in Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
