CAB® Solar’s Engineering Department has recently released two important engineering reports to better assist customers during the development, design, and installation phases of their PV projects.
An updated Structural Engineering Report for Messenger Wire was issued to help customers with solar projects that continue to experience increasing weight loads. This report features expanded tension and sag data tables to assist customers during the design of projects with heavier workloads.
A Structural Engineering Report for ModulAir™, CAB® Solar’s free air cable hanger solution, was also released. In response to customer inquiries, CAB® undertook an extensive examination of the effect of snow and ice loads on its above-ground cable management systems and provided supportive data to exhibit the strength of its robust ModulAir™ system.
